This ECU from BMW or Rover! You do not run this ECU on pin1(Х6) without installing them on the car.
So, the heater is from Mercedes W202 ( 202 500 02 98 ), with 91452C, 0085602 mainboard.
I have the schematic of the mainboard, but i found little differences. Pin2 (X6) is not directly connected to Pin6 (Elmos 10026B). Yesterday i couldn't connect with WTT 2.16 Diagnostic through Pin2(X6), so i made it through the capacitor C42 (333K --> 33nF). One of the capacitor's pins is connected directly to Pin6 of the Elmos.
The component VT18 called "transistor" was melted and defective. Yesterday i though that this is transistor, but it's DIOD. I made one solder with 1N4007 for the probe and everything is ok. There is no heating, warming etc.
The electolytic capacitors C46 and C49 are new (just for sure 470uF/35V).
Now i can connect to the Elmos, i can test all of the components: Metering pump, Circulation pump, Glow plug, Combustion Fan and the Vechile Relay, but i can't turn on the heater through Pin1(X6). Why? I see in the diagnostic the green led "MS - Main Switch", but the heater doesn't run.
Can you help me to find the real name of this diod "VT18", and where could be the problem with this Pin1(X6).
Thank you very much!

All right! Yes, only BMW and Rover. With the ECU of the car heater communicates via the bus D-CAN on pin 2 (X6). INPA will diagnose and run the heater only on the car. But, once installed on the car, You start it and pin 1.
It's very intresting how the Car's climate ECU make diagnostic when Pin2 (X6) is not directly connected to Pin6 (Elmos). Some additional circuit makes it probably. I see another components such capacitors and resistors connected to Pin6 (Elmos).
Then i don't have anything to worry about? When i am possible to make diagnostic with WTT, to read/clear errors and test the CP, DP and etc... all is OK? :)
On pin 1(Х6) is fed 12V. The heater tells the car that it's ready. Then the car gives the command to switch on pin 2(Х6). And the diagnostic circuit should be OK!
If the boiler is installed in a BMW, there should be no problem. But, only for BMW E39-E53.
Good luck!
CAN bus - not used for remote STH on E series (38-39- 53 e.t.c)ECU of the car heater communicates via the bus D-CAN on pin 2 (X6)...
But, only for BMW E39-E53.
Them control by older K-Bus ( own BMW ).
But not depend of "bus names" ,"simply start" , without IHKA(car) - is not possible .
PS:There are many of a threads about "TTC\Z BMW" ( if read in RUS)

ja, ja, naturlich! Ich habe mich geirrt, tut mir Leid...CAN bus - not used
And what is the reason this capacitor 33nF to be with internal short circuit? I saw many mainboards with the same problem.
Is this diode "VT18" A82 --> BAS21?
One strange thing more, in the video i see this guy use pin2 (X6) for diagnostic, but on my board pin2 (X6) is not directly connected?
I need to connect directly on pin6 (Elmos 10026B) to make diagnostic. I will try to use again pin2 later, maybe i miss something. Thank you one more time

from where you have the schematic?
vt18 cant find in circuit diagram!
Thanks
hi does someone know how to change undervoltage value?!
thanks!
sorry! i mean the bmw thermotop z c d.
i want to set the undervoltage value wich switch of the heater to another value.
the thermotop z c d was used in e39 e38 e46 x5.
the part number of the webasto ecu is : 91452c.
original the undervoltage threshold is between 9.5 and 10 volts.
can someone please help? is a dump needed or are they posted dumps enough on the thread?
thanks
